I really don't know what to say on the infirmary thing. I KNOW I've had the option to send a sim to a hospital, and it sounds like others take as well. I'll have to take a screenshot. (And no, there's no physical infirmary. Equally far every bit I tin tell there'due south absolutely no difference whatsoever between having the infant at home and having it in a infirmary.)

As for the Try for Baby / normal Woo Hoo thing, I believe your sims could get pregnant only past Woo Hooing in previous games - the chances were but much lower than if you were deliberately trying for a baby. Don't honestly know if that's the example here.

I've held off on replying to this mainly because I'm not certain if that's the only prerequisite. My fiancée was playing a few days ago and she didn't get the option for birth in a hospital either. I'll have to tinker before I tin give a definitive reply. Normally, though, yeah, information technology'southward just clicking and choosing.
